  • I bought the camper in the fall of 2009. I think I'd already heard about the See Level monitor prior to buying the camper.

In early 2010 I drive down to ABQ, NM to visit my brother, and to attend the FMCA national rally. Garnett Industries was there. They showed me some details on the wiring, so that convinced me I could adapt the OEM wiring to the See Level. I think I ordered the system while I was at the rally.

With 2010 being my install time frame, I must have installed it prior to even using the camper.

I should have said "when " I installed it in my first post.

EDIT for a correction: I've had it 7 years (not 6). I installed it in early 2010.

About a year or so after buying my AF 811 I installed a See Level II tank monitor. It's one of the best (favorite) upgrade to my camper.

Here's a short video that describes it:

Same here on all counts (AF811 and SeeLevel II). It makes it much easier to knowledgably economize when on long boondocking trips.

The SeeLevel is easy to install, great quality, and deadly accurate.

Not to hijack the thread, but my second-favorite upgrade is the "Fabulous Range Hood Upgrade Kit" (http://www.fabulousoperatingproducts.com/upgrade-kit). It has a brilliant LED light (that can be dimmed as a nightlight) and a three speed squirrel cage / centrifugal fan (blower) that's quite efficient and much quieter than the raucous OEM provided axial fan.
  • When I upgrade my camper, the See Level will be one of the first mods I make. Glad to hear you are happy after a year.
