Seeking advice on dry weight / towing capacity

Thank you all, so much! This is very valuable information.. I was concerned about going blindly to a dealership, and explaining exactly what we need (because, honestly, I feel like someone trying to make a sale might push something that wouldn't even be safe for us to tow). Again, this is completely new to me, so I really appreciate the expert advice!
