This is what happens when someone that can't afford a camper listens to the salesman and finances for 10 or 15 years so they can "afford" the low payment. Then they figure out that along with the monthly payment it costs another $120 (or more) for a site for a weekend.
Now after 2-3 years they want to get out from under it but basically all they have paid is interest and virtually nothing on the principal.
If you can't pay off a camper in 5 years you can't afford it.
Exceptions being high end units you plan to full-time in.
