For several years now Honda Canada has been selling the EU2000i for $1299 Cdn, to which dealers usually add $50 to $75 for freight & PDI, and to that is added 13% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax). All in a new EU2000i here in Canada therefore sells for ~ $1500 Cdn ... no doubt about it, once spring arrives and everyone gets excited about camping again I can easily sell my 2014 model with ~ 30 hrs on it for $1000 Cdn which at the current exchange rate is ~ $700 US.
