I doubt anyone would as that's a difference of ~ 22% ... but in the example I cited we're talking a difference of ~ 34% ... $1500+ Cdn vs $1000 Cdn. Regardless of the fact we all do it when shopping used one can't simply overlook the additional costs that might have been paid by the original owner over and above the base cost of the item itself, be it PDI, freight, administration fees, taxes, whatever. If here in N America new products were priced included VAT (Value Added Tax), as is the case in many other parts of the world - i.e. the price you pay is the price on the sticker - then determining a fair value for the same used product would be a lot easier.
