Selling? Classifieds?

Since I rarely roam beyond the Truck Camper forum, I figure I'd ask y'all here; is there a classified section on the RV.net forums? I've got something(s) I'd like to sell and thought this would be a great place to find someone for them.

Wayne; feel free to edit, crop, or outright delete if this post is inappropriate.

Cheers!

  • ....the last time anyone posted an RV for sale on that classified rv-forums.org, was back on Thu Jun 14, 2012 12:44 pm. That Forum is all but dead.

I found 855+ used truck campers for sale on rvtrader.com (there are probably 200+ more that are listed as used). That and craigslist are about the only games in town, if you want to sell your camper before your kids have grand kids of their own...

...in Quebec, there is les pac (French site: lespac.com/index.jsa )
  • For those still looking for some place to do classifieds for RV parts, etc. there is a forum with a classified.

    RV Classified

I found this one the other day and it looks like it has not been used in awhile, but might be worth looking into.

    Lighten up Francis...

I didn't know, I asked... and I didn't post an ad, I posted a URL to a commercial site. Now that I know, I removed the URL.

    and for someone who's touting obvious and well-known rules, you tread all over this one;
    Rule 4
"Flaming" of other participants is strictly forbidden. respectful behavior towards other members is a requirement for participation

Besides, I'd argue I didn't violate any of the rules even with my link.
    Rule 8

For those who didn't get to see the link, it was to craigslist.
Good post by Francesca Knowles, and equally good response by skipro3. :B

Good, bad, or indifferent, the classified was dropped from RV.NET due to constant/frequent abuse.

  • Sales ads are not allowed on the forum:

You may not use the Open Roads Forum for "For Sale" or "Wanted" posts. Solicitations by private/public agencies, or individuals for any cause are also not allowed
