And I do consider a 5vr to be an upgrade. Larger trailer, more headroom, larger slides, able to double tow, etc.
With the possible exception of Airstream trailers, I think most consider a fifth wheel to be an upgrade from a travel trailer as long as
upgrade does not equate to better quality; just larger and perhaps more full time liveable (washer/dryer, large storage areas, heavier, longer, more slides, a little nicer interior) and often needs considerably more tow vehicle to tow it. There are not many travel trailers in the 16,000-18,000 pound gross weight category, but lots of fifth wheels.
