Maybe so, but I say salesperson because they might 'play along' to close a deal, but they know beforehand it's unsafe or not practical. It's about the long dollar and that is the travesty in it.
It is very poor practice to let your Salesman do your research for you. The internet makes it easier then ever to research it yourself. Don't blame the Salesman for your ignorance, the end only you are responsible for the choices you make.
