So you have 4 bolts that hold the 2500 into that hang down holder, I was able to take the front ones out and loosen up the back ones and drop the front down enough to be able to squeeze a socket up and in to get the plug out. Wasn't pretty and I ended up dropping the whole unit after to check other issues, but it can be done. Hopefully you got it all cleaned up while you had it dropped.
