Your going to be pushing 800-1000 pounds of tongue weight which is going to leave you about 400-600 pounds of payload. Once you add passengers your going to be about out of payload. As far as the sway goes, a well balanced trailer shouldn't sway. Sure a 1 ton dually will control it better, but if the sway is bad enough it will put you in a ditch just the same.
