After reading the gmc guide carefully we figure the following:
9400lbs to play with.
Trailer is 7100 loaded. Truck can handle 1400 gvwr. That's going to include the trailers 600 hitch weight plus me and my hubby and two small kids. That puts our gvwr at around 1000 leaving 400 for stuff.
7100 + 1400 is 8500 and that is less than 9400. So we are in the green?
Sound right?
Ps: gmc says we need a wight distributing hitch. Is that another word for equalizer hitch?
