You can use the clear elbows (45 or 90 degree) which use the mounting pins. Install one screw to prevent it from coming off. The kind with a water hose connection for cleaning can be useful.
On my TC, I use a straight extension (about 6-inches long), between my dump valve and hose/macerator. With it, I get no surprises if there is still waste in there. In my cam, I use the type with a hose connector, and I att a water hose shutoff. I can open the hose shut off before removing the cap. This will let me know if a valve has leaked, so no surprise there either.
