Sewer Drain Hose

I'm going to get a new sewer drain hose for my trailer.
I brought trailer home from storage and it's missing.
I can't imagine anyone stealing it. Don't know where it went, just can't imagine anyone stealing a sewer hose.
Anyway, just thought I would share the excitement of my day with you.
Oh I need an end cap for the bumper. It's missing, too.
  • End cap missing? So...I bet you carry the hose in the bumper? Shouldn't be too hard to figure what happened to your hose :) Drill a small hole close to the edge of the bumper and put a metal screw in the hole to press against the tab of the end cap. Shouldn't loose another one after that.

For what it's worth, the bumper is a bad storage location for the sewer hose anyway since it is put away wet and the water drains out inside the bumper rusting it out.
  • That's a bummer. I know that he end caps unfortunately can fall off and then the hose just vibrates out of the bumper.
  • If the end caps are like the ones on my TT's bumper, they can jostle loose on the road, then any hose inside will flop out. That's why I just keep my slinky in a plastic tub in an outside storage compartment.

I doubt it is theft, but it wouldn't be impossible. I have had someone steal trash bags from the bed of my pickup which happened to be camp trash, including the "output" from a bag toilet.

However, I live near Austin, and who knows what some people are into for fun these days.
