So we would not have to dig to uncover the septic tank at home, we had installed a clean out pipe with a lid. Unfortunately, the pip is about 8 inches above grade. But I devised a plan.
I built a ramp next to the clean out that I can drive over with my lawn mower and down the other side.
I then dump my camper tanks into my blue tote. Hook up my blue tote to my lawn mower and tow it over the ramp. At the highest spot on the ramp is where I stop for the dump valve on the tote. I then simply remove the lid from the clean out, attach my sewer hose to the tote, put the the other end in the clean out and pull the valve and LET IT FLY!
It sounds like a lot of work, but it really is not. The distance from where we park the camper and the clean is is a couple hundred feet, so digging is not an option for us. But this works. I can dump whenever and clean tanks whenever.
It's an idea worth considering!
