Yep. More times than I care to remember. Easy enough job for a an experienced plumber or drain guy. It could eiter be Straight forward or it could turn into a nightmare. Is the sewer cast, clay, ABS, PVC, oh god, orangeberg? Do you know how to use chain snaps? Probably not. Are you up to digging a 1-3 ft or more deep hole/trench? Probably not.
Not trying to deter you, it just depends. It's not something you want to do incorrectly. The couple examples given here dont sound like they are to code. Just make sure its done right and inspected. Then theres no issues later.
