sewer dump at home

Anyone installed a sewer connection for dumping at home?

I park my TC in the driveway during "the season". It's about 75 feet from the sewer clean-out I dump into. Dumping involves buckets and that's a nasty job. I've tried a Sewer Solution but it didn't work too well. I assume it's because I'm so far away from the sewer.

So, I'd like to consider putting in a sewer clean-out by my driveway....my own RV dump station. I'm thinking permits, contractors, cost will all make the idea not viable. And I'll end up going to an RV dump station because it will be cheaper.

Anyone have experience doing that?

  • get a flojet waste pump about $200.00 amazon hook to garden hose pump to your cleanout.
  • We have a septic tank clean-out pipe at our house, but it is under some large trees and I cannot get the TC in far enough to use the hose to dump. So, I bought enough PVC pipe to reach out far enough so that I can use the hose. The pipes were glued together and two L-shaped pieces placed on the pipes, one at each end and pointing in opposite directions. When not in use, I place this pipe on a stand made from 4x4's way in the back of my property. The septic clean-out has a screw-on lid.

This works fine for me, but my distance is only 25ft, not as long as yours is.
