Sewer hose tube

I used plumbers tape and mounted it under the trailer.

An aluminum strip (or light steel) about 1/2" wide, cut into 4 pieces of appropriate length for the tube (in my case a hollow vinyl fence post), threaded rod (cut into 4 pieces of appropriate length), 8 nuts w/ nylon threaded centers. All from Lowe's. Oh, and two vinyl fence post caps for the ends, with a few air holes drilled in them so things could dry out, attached to the post w/ zip ties as hinges.

Finally got around to mounting my Valterra sewer hose tube. Got a black 64" and mounted it under the rear bumper. Used flexible metal strapping painted black to shape around the bumper and to screw to the tube bracket. Thanks for all the ideas you guys gave me.

Stainless steel hose clamps hold mine on.

Large outdoor rated zip ties and the spare tire carrier, mine sits on top of the rear bumper.

I don't have access to a work bench vise so I can make good square bends so I had a steel Fab and trailer frame repair shop I do business with make a couple of brackets for me out of 1 x 1/8 flat bar. After drilling screw holes through the tabs at the end of each bracket, I used self tapping sheet metal screws to attach them to the bottom of the trailer I-beam flanges.

I'm going to add a second hose carrier so I will probably drill two matching holes on opposite sides of the square fence post tube on each end lining up with the i-beams and use self tapping screws with fender washers at the inside top of the vinyl fence post to hold it to the i-beams. The holes on the bottom of the square fence post tube will allow me to get an extension bit through so I can put the screws into the I-beam flange with a drill driver. If I go that route I'll probably remove the brackets from the other hose carrier and reattach it with fender washers.

I installed a Valterra carrier under our TT which has an enclosed underbelly. It's attached to angle iron which I then bolted to the 2x2 tubing under the I-beams that is for the stab. jacks.

Funny thing about these carriers is that they aren't designed for mounting under a TT because the mounting tabs are at the very ends of the tube and they don't sell a bracket to do this. I had to buy an extra set of the brackets and modify them.

I stuck mine on with 3M VHB tape directly to the Filon on the back wall just above the bumper. I have the Valterra kit that has a couple of flanges on the end fittings for mounting. It has held up fine, that stuff is really strong. I wouldn't fill it with bricks, but for holding a sewer hose and backup camera on there it works.
