If the trailer is prematurely wearing tires, there is a problem, and it's not specifically related to whether it's a leaf spring design vs a torflex design.
I currently am running four trailers. Two have torflex, and two have leaf springs. None of the trailers are wearing their tires out in abnormal patterns.
You might want to take your trailer to a "real" trailer shop ( not the RV dealer ) that specializes in working on trailers. They can evaluate and recommend ( alignment ? ) a fix.
