A 1999 camper is 15 years old now.
What's more important at this stage of the game than anything else is CONDITION. If a 15 year old camper is still solid, dry, clean, and straight, how bad could the construction possibly be?
That said, the seller is smoking something if he thinks it's worth $5800. You're smoking something if you think you can offer him anything in the $2000-$3000 range without being run off on the end of a 12ga shotgun.
Walk away.
