Thanks for your post mkirsch. I guess I love a challenge. At this point I'm going to give the Seller the benefit of ignorance ... that is to say he really doesn't know what the unit's market value is.
I've sent the Seller several links to value his unit (i.e. NADA guide etc.) plus a few comparable units being offered for sale. The only reason I want to take another step or two on this unit is the pics and his description of his being a very nice, clean, dry and solid unit. Age doesn't bother me ... just ask my sweetie!
Ultimately something is worth what somebody else is willing to pay for it. I think it's worth half of his asking price ... he thinks differently. Time will tell.
Having said that, thanks to all for your input (and pics) ... very helpful and informative. We're quite excited about crossing over from the Class C camp to the TC camp.
