If you look around, there are still quite a few on the road and at campgrounds. Especially for us Ford guys who have owned one in the past, its easy to distinguish the sound of a 6.0.
Its not just rv websites that were plagued but every haulers forums I'm a member of had stickies warning O/O about the 6.0 PSD issues. Lots of O/O left on the side of the road waiting for another operator to come and pony their loads (I did this in my area) for them while their 6.0 was down for sometimes several weeks. Very common story back then in the work truck world.
As we know not all 6.0 PSD had issues...BUT way too many did.
Ford lost lots of commercial truck sales/die hard Ford truck owners because of the 6.0 and 6.4 debacle.
