Does anyone in the Austin, Tx area have a tongue scale that I could borrow. I'd like to get an accurate weight, but it's not pressing enough to hitch up and go to a scale. I just want to know what it weights as it's loaded since that's pretty much how it stays. I store the trailer at Mustang Storage in Round Rock.

While on a long trip, I drove into a dealership and asked them if I could use theirs. They were very accommodating and said, "Sure, pull around to the back."

I was in my dealership a couple of days ago and asked to borrow one. The guy said they didn't have one. I doubt that, but I wasn't going to argue with him. It's hard to imagine that what is probably the biggest RV dealership in Austin, Tx doesn't have a scale. Especially after I just spent over $1300 replacing my awning.

I didn't push, but I'm guessing its because they don't want to explain huge discrepancies in the advertised weights and the actual weights.
