shocks are a funny purchase. Some will go forever on original shocks and some want to get a better shock. I go for the better shock. We had a 2001 3500 2wd chev dually and switched to rancho 9000. with a 22 ft TT on a road I towed before and after the difference riding in the truck was much better after the install. I switched to bilsteins on our 05 and like them .
