Shore GFI tripping when Inverter circuit is on

I've had my TT unplugged for about a year. Last week, I plugged it into a 20amp GFI circuit. All breakers on in TT. Turned on AC, furnace, etc - everything was good. Had it plugged in a week like ...

The battery negative is connected to the frame as is the AC ground. The DC system is not isolated. The AC leak could be through the DC negative side.


devils advocate - If an AC leak is going through the DC negative side - wouldn't have to be a faulty converter? being the only thing connected to the DC side from the AC side, since the other circuits are all good?
