Short person - can't get in and out of RAM 3500

Ok - we got this RAM 3500 to pull our new 5th wheel and even with the step installed at the dealership I'm about 5" short of being able to get out without jumping - and I'm too old for that? Any id...

He was thinking correctly the correct tool for the correct job, he is pulling a 5er, likely larger as he did get a 3500.

Then again, why not slam that 3500, lower it right down to the ground, solve getting in and the bed height issues. :B

Seriously the retracting running boards look great, but pricy.
