Juts asked my wife, whom is 5"1"" tall. She drives our 3500 more than I do.(Because she is the better driver!) She says that with running boards, she has had no problems.
She said:"You just have to get over the fact that the truck is not a car."
I think she meant that unlike a car where you slide DOWN into it, with the truck, you enter standing up.
We both use the method that Benk outlined on page one. Works well.
