In the early 70's, I removed the stinkin' emissions **** from my '69 Camaro SS 396. Sold it in '75. When Kookifornia started mandatory emissions testing a few years later, the parts were still in my garage. The guy never came by to ask about them. Granted, you are not in Kookifornia, but you never know when that stuff will start up. It did run sooooo much better without the emissions controls on it, though.
