If you read my original the cost of DEF was not my only reason to want to do it if I owned a 6.7. Just seeing them in the shop for costly EGR and DEF systems made me want to. The truck runs and breaths much better without having exhaust gas coming back into the intake **yes I know its a small amount and yes I know what the EGR does.** The "10,000 dollar"muffler as I call it is pretty restrictive as well.
But to each there own. If I owned a 6.7 the second the warranty was up all of that stuff would be off.
