Jeez, at this point I just thinking you are nit picking what I am saying to argue for the sake of arguing. I am just telling how it is in the real world. For most people with DEF trucks, when they get low, they go to a store to purchase more. After purchasing they walk out to their truck and fill it up discarding their jug in the nearest trash can. The reality is, most store employee's are not hoing to dig that jug out of the trash in order to put it in a recycle bin.
Again, the norm is that most of these jugs go in the trash regardless of what you do. You can't base your argument on what you do if what you do is not the norm or anywhere close to it. If you don't like what others do then I would suggest start going door to door giving people "attitude adjustments" on recycling or make a movie like Al Gore did.
And no, I don't do the same with my oil and anti-freeze since my shop takes care of that and have bulk containers. I also get DEF at the pumps, not the containers.
