Yeah, I looked at the picture before your post and my first thought was that roof structure isn't designed for much snow load :)
We get almost no snow here in Vegas, maybe once every 5 years we get 1 inch of snow but is all gone by noon and our normal annual rain fall is around 2 inches a year but our sun is always shinning and will burn out paint or car interiors in 5 years flat..
Shade is all I needed and I can sit in RV and still see out the windows and run the a/c and stays cool during the hot hot summers here, plus our high winds we have here just blow right thru the fabric.
