Shower leaks? No surprise, it seems they all do at some point, especially a brand new one! :) IIRC, I caulked mine on outside by door rail, and other rail areas. Other than looks, your wall area should not matter, due to having a lip behind from base. Always hard to tell where water comes from, unless you have someone outside watching, while you shower. Even when you think, I've fixed it, the water shows up about 10 minutes later.
