Typical Filon repair is to insert a thinned epoxy between the Luan substrate and the back of the Filon. The Filon siding is then braced/clamped until set. Working alongside a garage where braces can be wedged against the repair surface and the wall of the garage is a good way of pushing the siding back onto the wall when gluing.
