Silverado Towing Question

No less than Peterbuilt, 500hp.

I used to tow with a 1/2 ton, never again. I went up to a 3/4 ton and it is night and day difference. never go back to a 1/2 again

Its a light duty 2500 with a 1500 badge. It has eight bolt wheels.

I think it's the perfect truck for the job.

Whether a 5.3/323 or a 6.0/366 is still a small block. People never said a 327 or 350 where lacking power back in the day. Well a small block is still a small block. The newer ones now have fuel injection and electronic ignition which means the small blocks of today have more power then the old carburetor engines.

You need to know your rear end ratio to know your exact towing rate.

My 2001 1500 Suburban 5.3/3.42/7,900 lbs.

You have to be better then this.
