Agree. I have pulled all kinds of trailers and the number of axles was not the determining factor in how well they towed. Percentage of tongue weight might be a little more critical but you want any trailer to be set up properly.
Of course one is limited by the tires and suspension to a lighter load than a tandem axle with everything else being equal.
