slide carpet ripped repair/replace cost?

I did a search first and did not find this topic. Last weekend we took our new to us dog out camping. In the evening we placed her in her kennel when we had to run into town for a while. She is like houdini with her kennel. In her attempt to escape she tore the carpeting on the slide that hangs over the side of the slide when it is out. She tore off about a 4 foot piece.

What are my options here for a repair? Has anyone else dealt with this?

    Might be able to Take a small piece into a carpet store and match up. And see if they can bind it for you.Most carpet comes 12 ft wide.Just buy the lenght you need.
    Cut out the bad and staple or glue the new piece in .
    Or replace the whole slide piece

    You have carpeting, not some RV exclusive proprietary part. Any company that does carpet installs should either be able to repair or replace.
