Slide out doesn't work

2010 Nomad Joey travel trailer. I cannot find the motor or gearbox. The bottom of the trailer is covered with plastic? above the frame. The motor sounds like it is under the couch. Will I have to cut the plastic or is there an access panel? Thanks.

    Thanks. I forgot to post that it is a Lippert electric. 19 foot trailer.

    You'll likely have to cut the plastic. Cut it in an L shape and use this tape to seal it back up or something equivelant.

    Without knowing what kind of slide you have diagnoses is pretty much impossible. Possibly check the packet of Owner's Manuals to see if you can determine the type and brand of slide. Or pictures of the slide mechanisms, control box, etc.?
