Slide out gap bigger on botton that top when closed

Hi All, We just traded in our Truck camper for a travel trailer so slides are new to us. We noticed our slide, when closed, has a gap of about 2 inches on the bottom and the top is flush with the side...

My previous camper was like that. Had it for 12 years and never had a problem. Question is, does it make adequate contact with the seal all the way around? If not, insist that they fix it.
