Slide out gap bigger on botton that top when closed

Hi All, We just traded in our Truck camper for a travel trailer so slides are new to us. We noticed our slide, when closed, has a gap of about 2 inches on the bottom and the top is flush with the side...

Often slides are setup so the top contacts a bit before the bottom and then the bottom pulls in till the whole thing is even. What you have is beyond belief and you need to have it repaired.
