Leveling of RV's should not be attempted while slideouts are in the "out position" . If you or a previous owner practiced that, it might have taken its toll on the framework of the slideout.

I am the original owner of my RV. We fixed the problem recently. I lubed the bottom portion of the slide, the rail parts as I do every winter. We brought the slide in before we levelled the coach, it seals when coming in, but we had this gap. So we lubed it, while the slide was pulled in, and then out, no more gap. Then we levelled the coach. Everything is fine now with the slide. Thankfully. I take good care of the coach, as we all know wear and tear is normal. Just letting you all know on this one........

It might be that something is broken/damaged (especially if its on the bottom of the slide where the water settled and rotted the framework) , misalignment issues and worn seals could also be the problem but an easier less expensive repair.
Leveling of RV's should not be attempted while slideouts are in the "out position" . If you or a previous owner practiced that, it might have taken its toll on the framework of the slideout.

Have you physically inspected the seals? And if they are in good shape, the slide room walls are clean, have you lubed the seals? Baby powder or dry lube work well.
