Slide out stabilizer

Unnecessary! And potentially damaging to the slide out. As was stated all slide outs are self supporting. So if you need any extra support then something is broken.

Spend the money on better things!

Unless the manufacturer calls for them (they don't) don't use them.

Think about it: What happens if you have a flat on the slideout side?

Not one mfg. suggests or recommends using them


There are aftermarkets products that are nothing more than a means of separating you from your money.
These are one of those items.

Slideouts are self supporting and do NOT need any aftermarket support devices.

Spend you RV money on additional 'jacks/stabilizers' to use under frame next t suspension.....that will help take the 'bounce' out
Or spend your RV money on good set of wheel chocks that stop the fore/aft motion

Forget wasting your money on products designed to take you money

If the manual says to use them, they should come with the camper. In our last trailer and our class A the manual says not to use them.

JMO but unless your owner's manual specifically calls for the use of slide stabilizers I wouldn't as there's just too great a chance of damaging the slide mechanism. Our current trailer has a shallow slide that certainly doesn't need any additional support but even if we owned one with a deep slide I still wouldn't use slide stabilizers. IMO they're a solution looking for a problem.
