Likely its the same size springs for a much larger topper. Ours does it a bit. Generally not an issue unless you are standing next to the slide when it's going in.
Guessing 10 - 15’. It really puddles--you notice it because you can see the roller with a distinct bow in it from the tension of the stretched fabric.
Also how wide? Ours is quite deep (approx 42")
But if it's bending the roller, that doesn't sound right. I've never seen any noticable bend in the roller.
