Propane Appliances:
- Water heater...but most have an electric heating element for when on shore power.
- Stove...if insistent upon no propane, would be easy to swap out.
- Fridge...propane fridges have no issue running on 120v AC. Many newer models are dedicated 12v DC fridges.
- Furnace...Probably won't find one without a propane furnace but a some air/con units have a heat strip built in. That and a space heater should handle things in a small trailer unless it gets really cold.
But honestly, propane is really not much of an issue. If we stay on shore power we get a month out of a 20# bottle when it's fairly cold (lows in the mid 30's), so is there some reason you are trying to avoid propane? - Since you are looking used... keep in mind you can modify or replace the components to run on electricity.
- carringbExplorerI would focus on finding a trailer you can live with/in, as long as it has the electric water-heater option. Suburban allows you add electric later. Dometic can be converted with a "hot rod" that replaces the anode rod. It works great, but technically voids the warranty.
For heat, either add an electric fireplace if there's space (that's what I use on my trailer) or add a heat-strips to your A/C.
For cooking, you could use a portable inductive stove. And if you do use propane for cooking only, it'll last a very time.
Beware that most of the small lightweight trailers are NOT intended for full time use. The warranty might even be voided. You can into issues like condensation damaging adhesives, and the composite floor breaking down with frequent traffic.
I suggest looking into something built well, like Nash.

Hey, thanks for all the quick replies! That Lil Snoozy looks perfect, wish that I could find a used one, but they are rare. I understand that most will come with propane system and I can just ignore it, but do need electric hot water and heat. Will be used in one location without moving for several months a year, will have sufficient electric available, and would rather not deal with trips for propane refills.
You could always find a used Casita. They do have electric water heater and you can use an electric space heater and not deal with the propane at all.
Just ignore the propane. - rv_bill-eExplorerHey, thanks for all the quick replies! That Lil Snoozy looks perfect, wish that I could find a used one, but they are rare. Just curious, what is the advantage of not using propane? - BobboExplorer IIITry Scamp or T@B too.
Although, you may have trouble finding one, of any brand, without a gas furnace. The refrigerator and water heater may or may not be available with electric. As long as those have an electric option, you can just not use the propane.
