On my search list so far:
-Casita
-Scamp
-Fun Finder
-Aliner
-Chalet
I have experience with 3 of the 5 you listed.
The Scamp (similar to Casita) was too closed in for my taste, plus the walls were covered with a fuzzy insulating material affectionately known as "rat fur". Scamp/Casita owners are a loyal bunch and love their fiberglass "egg" campers.
Had a 16 ft Fun Finder that I liked well except for the wet bath. Really wanted a larger bath so purchased a Starcraft 15RB. The 15RB has a rear fold-out that sometimes I do not open and other times I open and use for extra storage. Not much extra weight and gives the option of opening the fold-out if you want to use it.
On my third Aliner (similar to Chalet). The Aliner is unique in that it folds while traveling , yet is a hard side camper. For me it is a great travel trailer for short stays in one place. Setup is quick and with my TV I can see over top the unit with my rear view mirror. Mine has a Thetford flushing cassette toilet which is especially great for night time. However, interior space and storage is much less than my 15RB non-folding unit, but with the Aliner's weight being less than half it make a great long distance travel trailer.
The bottom line is to get a unit that will fit your needs. I had to do some experimenting, but that can get pricey.
