We didn't know our 4 Runner had a trans cooler - but it did have a tow hitch. Turned out it does have a trans cooler and it pulls our Lance 1685 just fine. We have a Fastway E-2 WDH and sway bars which are easy - takes us just a couple minutes to hook up and unhook. We looked at the RPods and popups for their lighter weight (we're pushing the limit with our Lance 1685) but the smaller trailers didn't have enough storage for living in the trailer for months at a time. Your experiences may differ, but have fun!
