smarter brains needed please

Howdy. Looking at the Koala 23S and the Milan T23RGS. I personally like the Koala for the construction material used. The Milan seems ok too but what is the downside to each regarding construction or any other aspects of these 2 you can see? Koala made by Skyline and Milan made by Eclipse. DW, me and 11 year old daughter. TV either Silverado or Suburban in each case 1/2 ton. Thanks!
  • I have looked at both layouts. As I am not familiar with both trailers I can not offer any comments on either one.
However the total lack of space around the sink and stove in the Koala would not be acceptable to me.

  • Do you plan on your daughter going camping with very much? It wont take long for her to want a little privacy which neither of these trailers offer a preteen/teenage girl.
  • Howdy. Yes gaymeadowsman our daughter is for sure an enthusiast of rving. In fact in 3 years we plan a 1 year trip through the USA which will require homeschooling and most importantly she requests her own space such as is found in a bunkhouse model. 74 Alex, DW noted the lack of counter space as well and she has veto power in these matters. Guess I need to go back to BH models such as the Coachmen Apex 259BHSS and go from there. Gracias.
  • See I like the Koala lay out better because of the nice view it would have out the back. But, my needs are different then yours.
  • We looked at the Eclipse products when we were planning our travel trailer purchase. We chose the Koala. My husband crawled all over and under both units. He much preferred the Koala. The construction materials were also a plus, as was the Skyline name and reputation for great customer service. If it helps, we have spent almost 130 days in our Koala over the last 2 seasons. Only a few minor problems.
