Smell in rv
What causes the sewer smell in rv when dumping black tank.Ihave smaller tanks I have been told to dump more often any help would go a long way Thanks

- Sewers are supposed to have a back flow valev to keep methane from flowing back to your TT but it is open when you dump. Also, you are stirring up the poop deck and that can cause some odor. Dump 10 lb of ice and 2 gal of water in it and pull it around to break up solids after you dump. You probably won't need odorizer then, we never have needed it.
- I would start by checking the air admittance valves.
