snoqualmie pass wa. area aug 17-18

we will be in the Snoqualmie pass area in Washington this weekend if anyone is around that area and wishes to visit. we are staying at lake Easton state park campground on the 17 and 18 and are in site 111. as of yesterday there was a whole 2 sites left open. you can always come in for day use though. there are a couple of us getting together for dinner at camp on Saturday. we will also be up at the pass on sunday for a big geocache event. we will be volunteering from 12-3. looks like we will be the east side tunnel/trail monitors for the event there on the iron horse trail.

on or way there our schedule...
Thursday boon docking in frenchmans coulee (east of the Columbia river and north of I-90)for the night.
Friday at the koa in Ellensburg for the night.

    oh yeah, we will be taking our time and driving the back roads once we get to the vantage area. doing lots of geocaching along the way. Friday will be a drive of a massive 30 miles or so to our next spot as well as on Saturday.
    hope you get to feeling better. maybe we will catch up with you in October?

    Have Fun Rich Joanne and all. If our colds get better, then we have a niece's wedding to go to 08/18. Ironically, we caught our colds at another niece's wedding 08/03. We've dubbed this awful cold, the Canadian Plague. Check out The towns in the area. Interesting history and museums.

    joanne pre-made the chili last night. we have a couple crock pots that work on propane to reheat it up. so yeah, 2 crock pots full.
