http://spectrumrv.com.au/Brand.aspx?BrandId=116 - Area13ExplorerI had a 2007 Snow River 9' 6". Going on memory the fresh is 35 gallons, black was only 18 and the shower dumped into it, or should I say vice versa when full. The grey i'm not sure, never had to worry about it though, just the black was a major issue for us, otherwise a nice camper.
- PR_ConnectionExplorerThanks fella’s
I have been absent from the forum for sometime. I used to own a 2004 9’6” snowbird many years ago. I could not remember the tank sizes. I do remember the shower dumping into the black and also remember me making a bypass to dump shower water onto the ground or in a bucket.
Reason I asked is I am looking to buying a new camper. After the snowbird camper was gone we bought a 26 foot Bigfoot class C. It had huge capacities. Now with it sold we are really leaning to go back the way of a truck camper. So the search begins for the perfect camper for our needs.
Our short list
AF 990 ( huge capaicities, large slide but looks huge on any truck and is top heavy)
Northern Lite 10-2EX ( no slide ,sleek and much smaller on the truck, amazing interior finish but has a 18 gallon black mind u its only the toilet that dumps in there 40 fresh and 35 grey)
Leaning towards the new 2019 Arctic fox but the northern lite we were in last week at the dealer really has me intrigued
ANy thoughts or input would be appreciated
Dan - GeoBoyExplorerYou have a great truck for the AF990, maybe add a swaybar and a set of Timbrens, will handle great.
- PR_ConnectionExplorerArctic Fox is really hard to say no to for the huge capacities alone. The top heavy part is my real only concern.
