I'll trade my warm drought for your wet winter. Dry, dead, burning forests are not great for summertime camping, and that's what we are looking at out West.
X2!! In a normal year at my house (elevation 5,200) we actually have winter; complete with numerous snowstorms and freezing nights and days. We have had 2 small "dustings" of snow and one rain shower since last November. The mountain is dry, dry, dry and our beautiful forest will be VERY subject to fire, bark beetles, and all other drought forced problems at this rate.
Please send some snowy weather to me. Thanks.
