This canopy was aluminum framed with a 500 lb roof rating, had smooth wall .040 aluminum (no longer offered that thick) and was light enough for me carry it off the rear of the truck on my back. I had security mesh over the inside of the windows to discourage someone from breaking out a window to steal something, but you could still see through the mesh. All the doors used 3-point locks with friction fitting handles. If you tried to force the handle, it would spin instead of overpowering the lock.
The passenger side had two portal windows eliminating most of the blind spot.

The driver side typically does not need windows, so I had a solid panel.

Both rear doors swing open or the the rear wall could be swung up and slid out either side of the captive hinge rail.

I installed the canopy within a month of buying my 2005 truck. I sold it for close to what I paid after seven years and put a truck camper on the same truck until I just recently sold the truck. The tailgate was brand new and only had one month of use when new and one month of use when it was sold. I was surprised how well the paint held up on my Ford - The tailgate still matched the rest of the truck even though it been wrapped up and stored in the garage for ten years.
